I sometimes wonder what it'd be like to have an older sister,
But to have one like you,
a Dream Come True...
...Beyond Blessed..
from the moment of our first connect
I knew it in my heart my soul had found rest
Detected it in our newfound happiness
You were& still are the best of friends one could get.
It's in the way you care,
are there,
prepare postures of affection and admiration
in the way that you stare
into me,
beyond intimacy,
it's how you intricately weave
passion, love, bravery, and consistency
to make one feel so special
to take you for granted is a fall from grace
and though we've had our moments
we still run our race, keep our pace
and when I'm off course you always find me thru God's grace
and put me back in place.
It's all in how you demonstrate,
compassion and emotion
thru words & actions,
thru timeless gifts and vows unspoken face to face
It's in how you bring excellence to the moment
how you rezone it to make it about you and I.
And though I'm not perfect and you know it
you still offer me new chances and I try
to B-there for you,
despite the evil the devil proposes,
to B-there for you,
despite my diagnosis,
there for you,
more than the meaning of one or dozens of roses,
there for you,

you knew the meaning of my advances
You gave me opportunities time and time again,
thru thick and thin
gave me 2nd and 3rd and 4th and more chances.
And I'm so honored and blessed to have a sister
who knows,
a sister who shows love
in all it's permutations,
You are my sister for life and forever BEY-ond
I know this without hesitation.
You pull me thru,
you take my hand
And it's only thru the grace of God
the source, derivation.
You've been there since our beginning,
without fail,
I've seen in my honest observation.
No one could have loved me half as much,
No one could make me feel,
No one could pull me out of myself,

Negativity,
